The Reds camp, close to full strength

It’s As the Washington Redskins tidy up mobile truck escape from training camp in Richmond, Va. In the first year of coach Jay Gruden, maintain a positive, with a wink grin suggested of the locals." There is no road outside a complaint is a bit bumpy road. We must repair the roads in Richmond, cow," Jay Gruden said. "I'm stiff neck ride in the car. In addition, man, this is a great experience, and these guys really things." Jay Gruden and team President and general manager Bruce Allen pointed out that to improve the team chemistry as a complete mission. "I never want a media circus or anything like that," Gruden said. "I don't know what happened last year, I wasn't here. I think it was pretty smooth. I think everybody's on the same page as far as what we're talking about, what we're doing on the field. There's no hidden agendas I don't think. Hopefully that remains consistent throughout the season, not just in training camp. So moving forward, hopefully we can stay in that train of thought and mentality." Allen said Gruden brought the energy and "focus on today" mantra that made for a smoother ride in camp. Last year, coach Mike Shanahan, spent a lot of time with the media to discuss Robert Griffin lll’s recovering from knee surgery and handling his January 2013 in Seattle Seahawks playoff loss to the damage.
This summer, Gruden can maximize the novelty of the new regime. "I think Jay Chou is a very good job, he and his staff to build up friendship," Allen said. "What we do. Now have plenty of competition, in the football team and patriot, in their work, we want to push us this season. I don't think there is any question, we got better camp. The key is to ensure that we keep getting better and better when we get back to the Redskins Park. "The next global's allegations and Cleveland Brown appointment on Monday night. "We haven't looked at the Cleveland. However, this will be an exciting event, Monday night football," Gruden said. "My brother came, of course, it would have been interesting, and Johnny football. But actually, I want to make it more people how we perform for us, how we under the lights out, excited, and show them what we can do. "Global says changes in the team this week to eliminate the night meeting, the meeting Allen described as "intense" the meeting of the position of the group global daily improvement plan.

Jay Gruden

Washington Redskins Jay Gruden clearly had more of a game face on than previous pressers. Washington Redskins Yes, you can tell that training camp is here. It's not like he was uptight. Washington Redskins And it's not as if his answers were short. But he was definitely locked in on what he wants to accomplish in camp. Washington Redskins He has a bit of crustiness to him, like when he said, Washington Redskins "Nothing is worse than when you let someone go and they kick your ass later on." A little crustiness is good, but it's also part of his personality. Gruden is a friendly guy and the players seem to like him. That's great if you win. But he's not just here to win friends. "My relationship with all the players, hopefully is a good one and a strong one," he said, "one that I'm the coach, they're the player. Moving forward, I've got their back and we are going to do everything we can to help them." The key part, He's the coach, they're the players. Otherwise, you end up allowing players to run the ship. And that's where a little crustiness can help him. Gruden will rely on others, something we already knew. It's one reason why the Redskins wanted to keep Jim Haslett around, to provide guidance from experienced voices. But Gruden reiterated Wednesday that "every decision I make will have input." Whether this works or not, I don't know. But I think the result is a staff that feels more ownership; same with the players. Now they just have to prove they can win. Gruden was asked if he looked at previous coaches who have struggled in Washington and what he could learn. The problem is, they all struggled for different reasons but in general it's been an organizational issue. Some lacked players; others lacked support; others lacked the ability to do the job. Washington Redskins What Gruden needs to do is get quarterback Robert Griffin III to play at a certain level and make sure the defense improves. Any time to reflect on his journey to reach this spot ended long ago and probably shortly after Gruden accepted the job he made it clear he likes to look forward. His feelings now? "Anticipation. You're excited about the season. You're nervous. you've got butterflies walking out there every day." Do not expect any crazy drills during practices from Gruden. "I don't think there's any special drill I'm going to do that nobody's ever done before. I hope not. It'll be football." Translation, No slip and slides. This is not related to Gruden, Washington Redskins but, Maurice Hurt is in a battle to win a roster spot and he reports out of shape? What are the odds that he somehow wins that roster spot? I did not think he was going to make the roster before camp. His a just went down. Washington Redskins Seriously; how does this happen, Washington Redskins.

Josh LeRibeus

Start The Redskins selected him in the third round of the 2012 draft with plans of developing him into a starter on the interior of their line for years to come. Washington Redskins Josh LeRibeus showed some promise during relief duty as a rookie, Washington Redskins and even played most of his team’s playoff game against Seattle. Washington Redskins But Le Ribeus regressed last season when he reported for offseason workouts more than 30 pounds overweight. Washington Redskins Instead of taking over at left guard, he spent the year trying to get back into shape, and didn’t dress for a single game. Washington Redskins Now as he enters his third NFL season, and what he describes as possibly his last chance with the team, LeRibeus is looking to make up for lost time and facing some stiff competition. Washington this offseason signed free agent Shawn Lauvao, Washington Redskins and he is penciled in as the starter at left guard. Then Washington drafted Spencer Long in the third round. Long is expected to eventually take over as the starting right guard, Washington Redskins although incumbent Chris Chester could hold him off for this year. For now, LeRibeus must prove himself as a capable backup. Washington Redskins He opened the offseason program working as the second-team left guard, and in the following weeks, Washington Redskins flip-flopped with Long at right guard. Coach Jay Gruden said it’s important that the young guards display an ability to play both guard positions because on game days, teams generally dress only the five starters and a backup swing guard and swing tackle. Washington Redskins LeRibeus reported for duty in better shape, Washington Redskins and coaches say he is at a better place now than he was at this point last season. It’s important that he continues to do well in training camp, Washington Redskins and show a strong sense of self-motivation. Otherwise, his time in the organization could end before it ever really got started, Washington Redskins end.
