Redskins QB Mark Rypien of honor

Former Washington redskins quarterback Mark Rypien choked back tears, every day is full of contradictions, also represents the significance of his bad.16 years ago of that day of, he said, his voice broken, his three-year-old son, Andrew, died from a brain tumor. The ring of the members of the 46 Redskins reputation, apparently, does not relieve pain, is still evident. It does, however, add a small dose of positive memories. "Thank you for picking up from the bottom of my spirit," Rypien, the former super bowl MVP, tell the Redskins alumni welcome home for lunch. "I will always remember this day." Washington Rypien played quarterback from 1986 to 93, the 1991 season after the reds won the super bowl. That season, he threw 3564 yards, 28 touchdowns, only 11 interception, and only nine times be fired. "One person isn't going to carry a team, but it definitely was a great era and very humbled, very honored to be part of the names that are up there," Rypien said. "Going into the stadium and seeing all these names, I realize the magnitude of what this day is for me. Wow. This is great. When they hoist that name up there, there are 52 other guys who are just as deserving. I'm very fortunate to have played with that group of guys." Rypien said he'll be inducted on Oct. 19 when the Redskins host Tennessee. That weekend also will give him time to reminisce with former teammates, perhaps talking about their Super Bowl victory over Buffalo. It's a day that still carries great meaning for him. Rypien recalled how long that day was and remembers the practices being tougher than the games. "That Thursday practice where I twisted an ankle and didn't know if I would play Sunday, our practice was as intense as the game itself," he said. "It was a long day. I thought I was the only one up at 5 o'clock having a coffee and I go downstairs and there's 20 other players in our breakfast room in the hotel who couldn't sleep either." Rypien said about seven o 'clock, Lohmiller Chip and Erik Williams to go to the stadium to take a nap. In this way, he joked that they know they wouldn't miss this game if you fell asleep. Then he remembers the adrenaline and the first series of launching an attack. "I smoke in front of the two three," he said. "I came to see, and said, what is going on? (Jeff) Bostic said, say, don't worry, don't worry. We will wear. They also get the adrenaline. "He vote of confidence to help me, because I think if this game is like this, I don't know what it is.I want to do a three-step down, cut down. This is not the part of what has happened.I cracked a rib, the first series. "Super Bowl MVP, but he was eventually throw 292 yards and two touchdowns 37-24 victory. Now, his name will always be in the stadium. Announced the day one of the most painful memories left his emotions. "A humble, Rypien said. ""Very grateful people can do what we can do."

Richardson encounter sad in the city

The Sheldon Richardson grew up in St. Louis, 7 minutes from Ferguson, Missouri. He watching the news on TV, see the place where he had frequented, burning to the ground. The situation triggered complex emotions. He troubled the terrible scenes, but at the same time, he know, because, he says, he has been a victim of racial discrimination. "I mean, it's sad to see," the New York Jets’ defense solve told the site on Tuesday. "I don't want to say this is necessary, because it is not, but sometimes, you know, I know that the St. Louis police. Some good, some bad. Just have a lot of, just a lot, a lot." I don't want to pick sides or nothing like that, but it's crazy. I've seen both sides of it. I've seen my folk act a certain way and I've seen the police get beside themselves with their badges. I've seen both sides of it. "I've been racially profiled before and all that, just being young and in a car and in an area I'm not supposed to be in. In high school, you don't know too much about the law. If they don't have a reason to pull you out of the car, you don't have to get out of the car. I came across some good guys, too. I was speeding and they wouldn't give me a ticket. "Like I said, I play of the fence. Is very dangerous, everyone told me that the police (Darren Wilson) may be free. I hope that will not happen. "Wilson allegedly shot and killed an unarmed black teenager, Michael brown sparked riots in the Streets. Richardson's ultimate wish to "it's dead." His parents live in St. Louis and his friends, he said. "Quite serious, man," he said. "Just keep faith, prayer, hope my family can protest the protesters want to do so, rather than trying to rob or not. I don't know too much. No matter the CNN for almost what I get."

Bangladesh' Sanu simple message: "let's go"

When the Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson met with receiver Mohamed Sanu after a few days, the team first learned no Marvin Jones, this is the only two words he said young players. Sanu, once receiving list 3, fully understand their meaning. Jones was injured, until October and receive rotate, Sanu to try is the best time pass - catcher team. "I was surprised, I did what I want statement after reaction Marvin beyond A.J. green, some time ago, but because they need to compete," Jackson said. "I hope beyond Sanu Marvin." Jackson's philosophy, maintain high pressure in his advanced skills, they will be competitive than ever before. He not only said, "nobody's job is safe." Does he really believe in it. Apparently, the philosophy has been working. Sanu has taken advantage of Jones' absence this preseason, working almost exclusively as the No. 2 receiver in practice alongside Green, the player who continues to get his usual No. 1 receiver reps and looks. In addition to catching, Sanu has been impressive passing and running both on reverses off the edge and out of the backfield as a Wildcat quarterback. Cincinnati won't be looking for him to solely run gadget plays this season, but the Bengals are hopeful he'll continue turning heads when they do.  "He's been all over the place outside, inside, moving around and he's really done a good job for us," quarterback Andy Dalton said.  Sanu told Jackson at the start of the season, he wanted to come back a different player. In Jackson's point of view, "he did it." "This is just the consistency of the production in his playing style," Jackson said. "He was like a true starter. Not to say that he is a year ago. I only know that I hope what we do, and see what he's doing. Blocks, he caught, he runs, he can do everything. We will try to use some of his great skills and this year for him to show his talent and ability." Tigers will get another chance to see those talents and abilities in the game of life scenes, their plane Paul brown stadium on Saturday night.
"I want to strengthen, more fill Marvin," said Sanu. "It is to continue to do what I do. It is keep playing and consistent. This is about. I can't see what happened in the future, but I know I can handle, I know I can control, this is my efforts, do my best to make this team better. "Cotton as Bangladesh has said for a week, and now sidelined, Jones because of foot surgery in the first three games, when the receiver as Brandon Tate, Dane Sanzenbacher and James Wright players to fill the vacancies last second receiver." This is a" person "attitude," receiver manager James city said. "This is what we've been... you put them, see if we can get the best person that can help us win the football game. Jackson said," all you do, and then added, "go."

The Reds camp, close to full strength

It’s As the Washington Redskins tidy up mobile truck escape from training camp in Richmond, Va. In the first year of coach Jay Gruden, maintain a positive, with a wink grin suggested of the locals." There is no road outside a complaint is a bit bumpy road. We must repair the roads in Richmond, cow," Jay Gruden said. "I'm stiff neck ride in the car. In addition, man, this is a great experience, and these guys really things." Jay Gruden and team President and general manager Bruce Allen pointed out that to improve the team chemistry as a complete mission. "I never want a media circus or anything like that," Gruden said. "I don't know what happened last year, I wasn't here. I think it was pretty smooth. I think everybody's on the same page as far as what we're talking about, what we're doing on the field. There's no hidden agendas I don't think. Hopefully that remains consistent throughout the season, not just in training camp. So moving forward, hopefully we can stay in that train of thought and mentality." Allen said Gruden brought the energy and "focus on today" mantra that made for a smoother ride in camp. Last year, coach Mike Shanahan, spent a lot of time with the media to discuss Robert Griffin lll’s recovering from knee surgery and handling his January 2013 in Seattle Seahawks playoff loss to the damage.
This summer, Gruden can maximize the novelty of the new regime. "I think Jay Chou is a very good job, he and his staff to build up friendship," Allen said. "What we do. Now have plenty of competition, in the football team and patriot, in their work, we want to push us this season. I don't think there is any question, we got better camp. The key is to ensure that we keep getting better and better when we get back to the Redskins Park. "The next global's allegations and Cleveland Brown appointment on Monday night. "We haven't looked at the Cleveland. However, this will be an exciting event, Monday night football," Gruden said. "My brother came, of course, it would have been interesting, and Johnny football. But actually, I want to make it more people how we perform for us, how we under the lights out, excited, and show them what we can do. "Global says changes in the team this week to eliminate the night meeting, the meeting Allen described as "intense" the meeting of the position of the group global daily improvement plan.

The Washington Redskins defensive in New England

Patriots VS Redskins

I like Brian Orakpo's bag, because it is a team effort. First of all, Ryan Kerrigan on the patriots quarterback Ryan Mallett outside have a very good in his pocket. What is worth I see Brian baker, emphasizes on the use of technology. In the corner of the response to his right arm in his men.At the top of the peak, he did a baker is focused on, he gave up his arm, he returned to his hips. Anyway, it's job. He pinched. Then, solve jarvis Jenkins collapsed Mallett pocket, no space increases, Orakpo finish it by left he beat up a few times, therefore, solve the set width, Orakpo took him, and then in. Team work. The bag.
Wrote, most of the plays I've seen in the rookie defender Trent Murphy let him against it. Same was true Thursday. He ducked inside the right tackle to make a tackle for a loss. I think he surprises blockers by how low he can play. Murphy did not look comfortable in coverage; he did do this in college, but it’s a different ballgame here of course. But I liked how he took on the lead blocker on one run. And I liked how he attacked the guard on one rush, at his outside shoulder. The guard turned outside a bit. File that away for a possible stunt with Kerrigan.
Linebacker Perry Riley played fast in his limited snaps. He missed a tackle on the first play of the game, but he shot through the gap hard. He is a group of teammates to ensure it not become a gain and limited two yards long. It's always good to help solve.Riley also is full of holes to play the second. Trenton Robinson love contact.I can give you a list of examples. But I will put it on this: he likes to contact.
